Since 1994, I've worked in English Language Teaching as an author, a consultant, an editor, a public speaker, an examiner, a teacher trainer, a teacher, a columnist and even an illustrator!

I've written a number of multi-level courses for international markets, with a particular focus on preparing teenagers for exams and on teaching adults. I've also worked as Content Lead and as Editorial Lead on several courses. I've travelled to over 40 countries to meet teachers, administrators and government officials, learn about their teaching situations and some of the challenges they face, and share ideas on teaching English. I've also provided webinars for teachers in several more countries, as well as regularly appearing at national and international conferences.

Along with my business partner, I run a packaging company, Signature Manuscripts. Through our teams of writers and editors, we provide consultancy and editorial services to other companies in English Language Teaching. We've worked on a wide range of content, including material for online platforms, exam preparation books and complete sets of components to accompany the release of major courses.

My primary aim in everything I do is to produce courses that work alongside teachers to give their students the skills they need to achieve their social, academic and career goals.
